Sustainability

ECOsmart Certified

We are delighted to announce that DMC Advantage has achieved the Greengage ECOsmart sustainability certification.

This achievement showcases our dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship and our commitment to building a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.

What is ECOsmart?

The ECOsmart accreditation is more than just an accolade, it’s a recognition of our responsible business practices, innovative sustainability solutions, and ethical values. This accreditation is awarded to organisations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to minimising their environmental footprint while maximising efficiency and corporate social responsibility.

Our journey towards sustainability…

Receiving the ECOsmart accreditation is a milestone on our journey to adopting eco-friendly practices across all aspects of our operations. From reducing carbon emissions and conserving resources to sourcing sustainable materials, we strive to lead by example.

Our ECOsmart accreditation is not just a badge of honour – for us it’s a mark of trust and value. It also helps our clients make choices that align with their own values and priorities.

As proud recipients of the ECOsmart accreditation, we’re not just imagining a brighter future – we’re building it, one sustainability step at a time.

Tree Planting

Tree Planting

In late autumn 2021 after almost two years of planning, a group of family, friends and a wonderful collection of over 30 volunteers from all walks of life took part in a day of planting over 400 trees in the fields above Great Missenden left to us by our grandmother Zoe Dowson.

She was a proper countrywoman and forward thinker, always aware of environmental issues, and I am sure she’d have been delighted to know these native trees were going into the fields which she nurtured.

At DMC Advantage we are keenly aware of the environmental impact of the international events space and this initiative goes a small way to help offset our footprint.

There was a real feeling of contributing to a positive change and we are now very excited to help nurture the trees we planted and watch them grow in the years ahead.
