Imperial Connection was founded in 2002 by us, Johanna Schmikal and Uli Beck. Our love of DMC business has grown over many years and we have put together a team of professional MICE experts with the same attitude: our most important attributes are the ability to listen and think, we enjoy our work and always use a personal touch. Our aim is your success!
The company name was created with a special intention: Imperial stands for the Imperial Cities of Austria we operate in and Connection stands for the partnership we want to offer. Let us be your direct link to the beautiful and trendy cities of the former Imperial Empire of the Habsburgs.
The Business
Imperial Connection is a fully licensed and registered DMC, a bit old-school maybe, because we understand that we have to manage all the services within a destination. MICE Business is our main focus, but we’ve learned and worked in all divisions of an Incoming Travel Agency which means we have vast experience in all aspects of the travel trade.
We see ourselves as your local representative and will be involved as much or as little as you wish. Our local partners are carefully chosen and after so many years in business, we have formed close relationships with a wide variety of the most outstanding suppliers – only the best of the best are good enough to ensure our clients experience the highest quality, value and service. Each of us is enthusiastic, professional and experienced and you will have one of us as your partner from the very first contact to final invoicing, as we are dedicated to each project we run. During preparation and supervision of your event we will be there for you 24hrs/7days a week – your event is our event.
We are your one-stop-partner for all meeting, incentive, congress and event services in Austria and our local expertise will ensure that your programmes are planned and executed smoothly. Financial Event Security Measures
We have successfully operated since 2002, have all relevant insurances covered and are up-to-date with necessary additional insurances for individual events. We have a Risk Management plan set up and for all of us, the most important thing is our partners and clients safety.
